How to check it

Verify the signature against the fingerprint on the contacts page, fetched from both the canonical address and the onion address. The block hash inside shows the statement was not written earlier and held.

A canary says nothing about what ostbro would do under pressure, and it is not a promise to resist anything. It is one dated fact, signed, that you can check yourself.
