What ostbro does, and what it will not do

Written to be read before you send anything, not after something goes wrong.

Who controls the movement

From the moment your deposit confirms until the payout leaves, the movement is under ostbro's control. There are no accounts and no balances kept for you: ownership begins and ends inside one operation. If you want nothing between you and the other side that could stop the movement, use an atomic swap instead — the ceiling there is small, but nothing stands in the middle.

ostbro does not score your coins

There is no screening step. ostbro does not check the history of what you send, does not buy risk scores, and does not hold a payout because an address upstream was flagged by someone. A deposit that arrives in the right amount before the deadline is paid out.

A refund address is mandatory

You give it before you pay, not after a problem. Late deposits, wrong amounts and orders ostbro cannot complete go back there, minus the network fee. ostbro has no other way to reach you and will not ask for an email.

Two rates, and which one you get

With Monero on one side, 3–3.5%. Coin to coin, where neither side is Monero, 4–5% taken from the spot price with no base fee underneath it. Either way the range is on screen as soon as you have picked both coins, and it becomes one exact number when your deposit addresses are issued.

What ostbro stores, and for how long

Order identifier, deposit and payout addresses, amounts and timestamps: kept 7 days after the payout, then deleted. No account, no email, no cookie. Your visit still crosses ostbro infrastructure, and ostbro's upstream nodes see the transactions like anyone else watching the chain.

ostbro does not make you invisible. It is one step in a chain, and the rest of it is yours.
